![]() ![]() The Demolitionist specialization is all about big explosions. These are the specializations you can unlock, their skill trees, and what they're good for. The skill points will need to be earned while using the specialization you want to level up. ![]() Skill points are earned by completing missions and activities around the world. To level up specializations you'll need to collect skill points which can be used to unlock new abilities in each of the specialization skill trees. So a specialization that's been levelled up more is likely to be more effective than one that hasn't. The benefit to sticking with a specialization rather than constantly swapping is they can be levelled up. You'll find there are three specializations to choose from but don't worry too much as you can change whenever you like. To choose a specialization you need to head back to The White House and talk with the Quartermaster by the entrance - the same person you'd usually interact with to level up your skills but this time you want to approach from the other desk. You will not be able to store perfect talents or their “higher than allowed”-stat-counterparts in the Recalibration Library.Once you've reached max level and completed the first three Strongholds available on the map you will unlock Specializations. So basically you can get stats that you usually don’t get for that particular slot. This way the Named Items are still better than their normal counterparts.īut Named Items with no perfect Talents not just have one “higher-than-allowed” stat on them, they also break the rules in terms of what stats can be rolled on specific slots. For example – normal items have 10% Critical Hit Chance, Named Items has 15% Critical Hit Chance. When you get a Named Item for other slots besides chest and backpack, they have one “higher-than-allowed” stat roll instead of the Perfect Talent. Only when you get a Named Item for the Chest and the Backpack it will have the established perfect talent on it. Gear 2.0 turned many aspects of the gear game on its head and the Named Items are also affected by that.Īs explained in the equipment section – in Gear 2.0 only the chest and the backpack have Gear Talents on them and that is also the case for the Named Items. Going forward, all named items and talents will be marked with a chevron ("v" shaped) watermark and written in high-end text color. They also want to ensure that you recognize these items and talents in your inventories. With Episode 2 the Named Items become part of the endgame. There will also be a visual indicator so that you don’t miss the drop. (This includes bounties and Control Point Alert levels)
